Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chess Clock – Game Timer mobile application (the "App"), published by Yixin ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained the App (Apple App Store or Google Play).
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease the App or any part of it;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
Purchases & Refunds
The App offers one optional in-app purchase, "Chess Clock Pro", a one-time purchase of $4.99 that unlocks additional features. The purchase is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play); we do not process payments ourselves and do not receive or store your payment information.
All refunds are handled by the platform you purchased through, according to its policies. To request a refund, please contact Apple or Google directly through your App Store or Google Play account. We are unable to issue refunds ourselves because we have no access to the transaction.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that timing will be suitable for any particular competitive or official use.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data or profits, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. In no event shall our total liability to you exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will post the updated Terms at this page and revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
