This Privacy Policy describes how Yixin ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the Chess Clock – Game Timer mobile application (the "App"). The short version: the App is a fully offline tool, and we do not collect any data from you at all.
Information We Collect
None. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data. Specifically:
- The App has no accounts and no sign-in of any kind.
- The App contains no analytics or tracking SDKs.
- The App shows no advertising.
- The App makes no network requests. It works entirely offline.
Because the App never sends anything off your device, we have no servers holding your information, nothing to sell, and nothing to share with third parties.
Local Data
The App stores a small amount of data locally on your device so that it can function as a timer, including your settings (such as time controls), your theme selection, and your game history. This data never leaves your device. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is removed when you delete the App. You can also clear game history from within the App at any time.
In-App Purchases
The App offers a single optional purchase, "Chess Clock Pro" (a one-time purchase of $4.99). This transaction is processed entirely by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play), depending on where you downloaded the App. We do not receive, access, or store your payment information or any personal information related to the purchase. Children's Privacy
The App is safe for children to use. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children, and it contains no advertising, no social features, and no user-generated content. Because no data is collected, no data about children is collected either.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change how the App handles data, we will update this Privacy Policy and revise the effective date above. Any update will be posted at this page before it takes effect.
