Thanks for using Chess Clock. It's a simple, offline game timer for two players — no account, no sign-up, no data collection. Most questions are answered below.
How do I start a game?
Open the app, pick a time control (e.g. Blitz 5+0), and tap either side to start your opponent's clock. Tap your own side after each move to pass the turn.
The top half shows upside-down numbers — is that a bug?
No. The top side is rotated 180° on purpose so the player sitting across from you can read it the right way up.
What does Chess Clock Pro unlock?
Bronstein & US delay modes, custom and asymmetric times, all themes, and local game history. It's a one-time purchase — never a subscription. Use Restore Purchases in Settings if you change devices.
Does it work offline?
Yes, completely. The app never needs the internet and collects no data.
